Showcase Freight & Custom Crating

Safe Shipping for Glass Display Cases

Arrives As Expected

Your display cases are mission-critical. Our job is to ensure they arrive ready to install.

Why Shipping Display Cases Is Different

Shipping a glass display case is not the same as shipping a carton. Our showcases are large, heavy, and built with precisely aligned components, so they require a freight program engineered specifically for custom fixtures.

At Tecno Display, freight is part of our manufacturing philosophy. From assembly through crating and routing, every step is planned to minimize handling risk and keep your project on schedule. Our priority is simple: your showcase arrives as promised.

Purpose-Built Protection

Custom Crates Built Around Every Case

Our display cases are engineered to be durable: tempered safety glass requiring high pressure to break, rigid bases, and structural framing designed for commercial environments. We match that durability with equally robust shipping protection.

Every crate is built as a one-way shipping solution around a specific display case. We do not use generic or re-used crates.

Key crate features include:

  • Rigid structural crate walls designed to resist impact and racking forces

  • Custom-formed foam interiors molded and cut specifically for each product

  • One-way shipping crates constructed around each custom case

  • Full-length skid runners for stable forklift handling

  • Secure tie-down and handling points to keep the crate properly supported in transit

Our crates are designed for the actual dimensions, weight, and center of gravity of the case inside.

Durable by Design

Our cases are engineered for real-world use. Tempered glass requires significant force to break, and our base and frame structures are built for long-term commercial performance. Combined with purpose-built crating, this ensures your case arrives ready to install.

Responsible Materials

Although our crates are single-use, materials are carefully chosen for efficient breakdown and recycling. Foam layouts are optimized to reduce waste while still offering the protection needed for long-distance freight.

Carrier Partnerships

We work with carriers who understand the handling expectations of display cases, including jobsite limitations, appointment scheduling, and liftgate needs. Their experience results in predictable and reliable delivery outcomes.

Features that set us apart

Freight Methods

Every shipment is paired with the most appropriate freight mode based on product size, destination, and receiving conditions. We use carriers experienced with high-value fixtures—not general commodity freight—so your order receives the handling it requires.

LTL Shipping

Ideal for single cases and smaller orders. We coordinate liftgate, tailgate, and appointment deliveries as needed. Carriers are selected for their track record with millwork and display freight, and loads are positioned carefully within the trailer to minimize movement.

Dedicated Truck / Blanket-Wrap

For multi-unit rollouts, museum projects, or time-critical installations, dedicated truck service minimizes transfers and reduces exposure to terminal handling. This provides more controlled routing from our facility to your location.

Components by Parcel

Only components such as hardware kits, LED parts, and small accessories are shipped parcel. Structural elements and glass assemblies are never shipped via parcel service.
