Finish Selection and Color Variation

Our Level 1 standard laminate collection includes nine finishes selected to satisfy most project requirements. These materials are generally kept in stock, allowing for efficient and cost-effective production. Please note that not all Level 1 laminates are suitable for curved or specialty-shaped displays. Brushed Metal and Oak Level 1 laminates cannot be applied to curved or specialty-shaped cases.

Our premium laminate collection includes high-gloss, imported Italian, and specialty metallic finishes, including brushed silver and brushed gold aluminum. We may also be able to match an existing laminate when the manufacturer, product name, and specifications are provided. Additional laminate options are available from a wide range of manufacturers, subject to material availability, suitability, minimum-order requirements, and additional cost.

Finish samples and color charts are intended as general representations only. Actual colors, sheen, texture, and grain patterns may vary between samples and completed products. Laminates, paints, stains, veneers, and other finish materials may also vary between manufacturing lots or production runs. Colors and finishes can change over time due to aging, exposure to light, environmental conditions, and changes in material formulations. For this reason, products manufactured at different times may not match exactly, even when the same finish is specified.

Natural wood and wood veneer inherently vary in color, grain pattern, texture, density, mineral content, knots, pinholes, sap markings, and absorbency. These characteristics affect how each piece accepts stain and finish. Variations may also result from humidity, application methods, and the handcrafted nature of our products. Natural wood will continue to change in color as it ages and is exposed to different lighting and environmental conditions. These variations are normal and contribute to the individual character of real wood.

Items intended to match should be ordered together whenever possible to reduce differences between material lots, finish batches, application conditions, and natural aging. Exact matching between separate cases, replacement components, samples, or products ordered at different times cannot be guaranteed. Completed products will fall within Tecno Display’s standard manufacturing and industry-acceptable finish tolerance. For projects requiring greater color and grain consistency, we recommend selecting a laminate finish rather than natural wood or wood veneer.
