As the name suggests, the history behind curio cabinet displays is infused with the spirit of curiosity. At Tecno Display, we seek to encourage that imaginative nature by crafting custom curio cabinets with glass fronts to flawlessly flaunt all of your unique collectibles! Initially, curio cabinets were thought to be any sort of case that held rare trinkets. However, as time went on, these specialty cabinets began to take on more distinct characteristics. Generally speaking, curio displays are either defined as large display cabinets with glass doors or stout wall-mounted glass showcases. These depictions originated in 16th-century Europe and quickly became the commonplace ideal.

We manufacture custom-sized display cases to fit any space. Our glass curio cabinets are constructed with tempered glass shelving systems, making the arrangement and organization of your valuables simple. Likewise, the sides of the glass display can be fashioned with frames or glass panels. Metal frames are available in black, silver, or gold. Wood frames can be made to match the wood veneers along the base cabinet and have the option of adding single, fluted, crown, or recessed moldings. Alternatively, glass siding allows for the collection to be seen from multiple angles. These features are illuminated with LED lights and can be further enhanced with reflective mirrors. Many of our wall hanging curio cabinets choose to incorporate a mirror on the back panel opposite of the sliding glass doors. When keepsakes are placed on the shelves inside, spectators are able to see both the fronts and backs of the objects. Similarly, many of our larger wall curio cabinets can include a mirror along the final level of shelving. This echoes the underside of the case's contents back at the viewer. Combining both mirroring styles creates the illusion of a bottomless showpiece. To ensure the security of your remembrances, all of our curio displays come standard with metal locks.

Curio cabinets aren't meant to be a one-size-fits-all type of case. They should be as extraordinary as the mementos they carry. That's why we offer several showcase models. Our units range from small shadowboxes to large towers. If you need help determining the style and dimensions that would best suit your space, just let us know—our staff can help you decide. Regardless of what you choose to exhibit, one thing is certain: curio cabinets with glass fronts are the optimal display cases for collectibles!
