Welcome back to our Snapshot Series! Today's product comparisons will be discussing museum display pedestals. These free standing display cases preserve their contents from damage, theft, and excessive humidity. Our glass pedestals come in all sorts of shapes and sizes—with various finishing designs and organizational factors. Don't worry about trying to memorize all of the options, we've made it simpler than that. Each week, we will compare the product specifications from a few our our most popular display cases. 

  • PD115

    • Presented in the upper left-hand corner of the image above, showing a Montana Walnut fine grain laminate finish with a black metal frame. 

    • This hexagonal glass showcase does require metal framing around the glass panels in order to ensure the structural stability of the unit. For additional organization, this wooden pedestal can have lockable cabinet storage space installed in its base.

    • Standard features include: Tempered glass, a locking hinged glass door, and wheels.

    • Additions: LED pole lights, an additional glass doors, fabric wrapped floorboards, cabinet storage space, and a mirrored deck.

    • Presented in the lower left-hand corner of the image above, showing a Colonial Cherry wood veneer finish with a frameless glass enclosure.

    • This case features a pristine glass display box resting atop solid wooden legs. Pedestal showcases of this design style are often used as corner display cabinet units. It's sleek style and clear sightlines make it the ideal museum pedestal for sculpture exhibitions.

    • Presented in the upper right-hand corner of the image above, showing a Sienna Mahogany wood veneer finish with a frameless glass top.

    • Wood and glass display cabinets are prized for their combination of high visibility and sophistication. The wooden framing around the glass paneling of this showcase crafts an image of classic elegance. This lighted pedestal features shelves that allow for the exhibition of numerous artifacts within one unit.

    • Standard features include: Tempered glass, LED puck lights, locking hinged doors, and a toe kick.

    • Additions: LED pole lights, fabric wrapped floorboards, a mirrored deck, and locking wheels.

    • Dimensions: 17" Width X 17" Depth X 64.5" Height

  • PD138-40

    • Presented in the lower right-hand corner of the image above, showing a Frosty White matte laminate finish with a frameless glass enclosure. 

    • Pedestal display cases can carry a variety of rare keepsakes. This model is frequently used to exhibit collections of precious gems due to its lengthy glass top. The locking glass doors provide easy access for staff members to rearrange its contents.
